Simply the Best, by Tina Turner

This famous song “Simply the Best” was from the greatest hits’ compilation album entitled with the same name.  Sang by the amazing, feisty, female artist Tina Turner it was released October the 22nd 1991.  The words are cleverly written and well known by most karaoke and pub singers.

“I call you when I need you, my heart’s on fire,

You come to me, come to me wild and wired,

Oh, you come to me, give me everything I need.

You’re simply the best, better than all the rest”

Tina Turner, born Anna Mae Bullock, originally rose to fame as part of the Ike and Tina Turner duo before she went on to have her own very illustrious solo career.  Born on the 26th November 1939 in Nutbush, Tennessee, America, Tina appeared in several movies such as “Mad max Beyond the Thunder Dome” and “What’s Love got to do with it?”
